About Luca
Luca studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Udine (Italy) where he also obtained his professional qualification with the Italian Engineering Council. In 2011 Luca moved to live in the UK, firstly in London, and later, in 2014 in Essex where, with his wife Jem, made it their home.
Luca has experience in the UK building industry, having worked in small, medium and large UK companies for over a decade. He has gained a good understanding of the UK construction market. From this, Luca decided to found SCB Structures specialising in small to medium refurbishment and development projects.
Luca found SCB Structures on the motto 'believing in people helping people' as he believes that this is the true meaning of doing business. Luca is client-focused as outside engineering he is a property professional and can fully understand his clients' points of view.
Luca is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers either of the Engineering Council UK and developments are his passion.
