About Niven

After working in the motor industry for over 20 years, my young family forced me to revaluate my work life balance.

We (my wife and I) looked at many different businesses, we found Home Instead, their ethos resonated with ours, we opened our office in 2012 and have not looked back.

Care for my grandfather was poor when he was not being cared for by my father and his sister. We try to emulate that care for our clients in their own homes.

We care for over 60 clients who are supported by 60 CAREGivers and an office team.

Our mission is to Change the face of Ageing.

We were the first home care company in Southend to achieve an Outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission and have been awarded a 5 star award for the best employer in care for the last 3 years.

This is the first professional networking group that I have joined and I am looking forward to contributing to the Southend network.
