I set up Nexus HR Consultancy in 2011 after a long and varied career, mostly in the public sector including Essex Police, Metropolitan Police, a Sixth Form college and the London Borough of Haringey as the Strategic Business Partner Lead. Many years ago I had a lengthy spell working as a Court Clerk in the Crown Courts at Chelmsford and Basildon, a role that I believe had a significant influence on my desire and passion for training and development. Yes, I am a frustrated actor! So what do I do? - I support business growth by working with leaders to improve the way they deliver people management through high quality HR practice, training and mediation. How do I do this? - Some new clients get in touch because they have a problem. I develop strategies to resolve those problems and set out options, risks and advise on solutions. But what I love to do is get underneath the business to really understand the need and then support positive improvement. So, what do you really get out of good HR and Training? - Well, it's quite simple. Improvement in processes and confidence to be great leaders but ultimately, an increase in profit.
