About David
I am your local friendly neighborhood chartered commercial surveyor from Southend on Sea in Essex.
I am grateful to be one amongst the newest generations of surveyors in the country who through consistent training, exposure and the networking opportunities at my disposal wish to continue developing as both an individual and professional in the built environment.
As my profile already states, I specialize in RICS Red Book valuation work for commercial/residential property, commercial lease renewals/rent reviews and acting as a surveyor in lease extension and leasehold enfranchisements. In addition to this, I have recently enrolled to the RICS Diploma in Arbitration to work towards the prospect of being a certified arbitrator to assist in resolving those troublesome third party disputes surrounding commercial lease renewal/reviews. My long term goal for this route is to one day join the panel of arbitrators under their esteemed chartered institute.
I have worked at Hair & Son LLP since I graduated from University nearly 7 years ago and I am very grateful to being a part of an established estate agency/property management/professional firm that has been around for 100 years as of 2022 that still has the potential to grow. My intention is to be a representative for both myself and my firm by offering my ever-growing services along with all the other services my firm can provide, attend exciting events and just getting to meet new people as everyone has an interesting story to tell!
Rather than bore you with the standard list of skills that everyone claims to have on their C.Vs, I prefer to focus on the core aspects that through time I have learnt about myself and continue to learn:
