Category: Networking - Award

Release Date: 15.07.2019

Members of Shenfield ebn (Effective Business Network) were celebrating last week when one of the members told them some exciting news.

Louise Mundy, of Havering & Brentwood Counselling Services, said: "I am delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS) - the highest accolade afforded to voluntary organisations and equivalent in status to an MBE.

"We were one of only nine voluntary organisations in Essex and 21 in Greater London to receive the QAVS, it is a great honour and testimony to the hours of selfless work volunteers have given to our charity over 30 years.

"We are absolutely delighted to be given this honour and I couldn't wait to share the news with my fellow networkers at the Shenfield ebn Group."

Group Director for Shenfield ebn, Mandy Baker, of The Zone Club, said: "Our members meet on alternate Tuesdays at the George and Dragon in Mountnessing. We were delighted to hear Louise's good news.

"The whole Group enjoy celebrating each other's achievements, and we wish Louise continued success."

Managing Director of ebn Glenys Chatterley said: "Networking is about building relationships to help businesses grow and become stronger, and this includes celebrating successes with other local businesses."
