Release Date: 19/12/2016

Brentwood businesses have not only been boosting their own growth through networking, but have also raised cash for the charity SNAP in Essex.

Group Director for Brentwood ebn (Effective Business Network) Hayley Taylor, of Taylor Made Promotions, said: "Our members meet on alternate Thursdays at The George & Dragon. For the last meeting before Christmas, members gave extra to dress up in festive attire to support our Brentwood charity member, SNAP.

"Each ebn Group has a charity member that it supports and we were pleased to hand over £453.80 to help SNAP in its work."

SNAP's Robert Dennis, said: "We were delighted that members of Brentwood ebn decided to raise money for SNAP through a wonderfully festive Christmas Jumper Day and themed networking breakfast.

"All of the money kindly raised will go towards helping to ensure that Essex families with children affected by disability always have a safe place to turn.

"SNAP relies heavily on the local community for support, and I would like to thank all of the other members at Brentwood ebn for supporting the work that we do. It's a pleasure to be part of ebn Brentwood and we look forward to another exciting year ahead."

Managing Director of ebn Glenys Chatterley said: "ebn encourages each of our networking groups to support a local charity; the members represent businesses based in the local community, so they want to support that community.

"Brentwood ebn has done exceptionally well, collecting a good sum of money by joining in with their chosen charity's fundraising. I am sure that the members will continue supporting the charity every time they meet with fellow business representatives."
